MANAGEMENT PROFILES
Without our experienced management staff, we would not be able to deliver the quality locomotive and freight car services that we do. In recognition of the skill and experience of our staff, we would like to introduce you to just a few members of professional management team.
Frank Blanc – President – Frank has over 33 years’ experience with the remanufacture of railroad rolling stock equipment. Frank graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1992 from Kansas State University. Frank has over 20 years’ experience as a hands-on technician in freight and passenger car, and locomotive repair and remanufacture. Frank has over 21 years’ experience overseeing the day-to-day project, design, and contract management with Mid-America Car, Inc. – Locomotive. Frank has received Advanced Quality Assurance training and holds a QA auditor certification from the AAR since 2000. Frank has been the company president since 1999.
Jerry Dike – General Manager – Jerry has over 28 years’ experience in car and locomotive maintenance repair and troubleshooting, fabrication, and facility maintenance.
Jordan Blanc – Assistant General Manager – Jordan has over 10 years’ experience in locomotive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting, and holds a Business Management degree from Kansas State University.
Mike Phillips – Director Car Quality – Mike has over 41 years’ experience in carbody structural engineering, and over 20 years in quality control management, both car and locomotive. Mike holds Basic and Advanced Auditor certification since 2001 and 2002, respectively.
Patrick Godfrey – Director Locomotive Quality – Patrick has over 32 years’ experience in electrical engineering both control and rotating equipment, over 20 years’ experience in mechanical engineering both engine specialist and trucks, over 27 years’ experience as an air brake specialist, over 27 years’ experience with quality control management. Patrick holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
Terry Barnhill – Locomotive General Foreman – Terry has over 23 years’ experience in electrical engineering, both rotating equipment and control, over 23 years’ experience in mechanical engineering both engine specialist and trucks, and over 23 years’ experience as an air brake specialist.
James Simpson – Car General Foreman – James has over 19 years’ experience in carbody structural engineering.
Steve Dennis – Paint General Foreman – Steve has over 21 years’ experience in paint application and removal, 15 years’ supervisory experience and paint quality control.
Andrew Waltz – Materials – Andrew has over 7 years’ experience in locomotive quality control and locomotive parts specialist. Andrew has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
